About The Living Legacy Foundation
The Living Legacy Foundation was established by LifeCenter Northwest, one of 58 federally-designated non-profit organ procurement organizations(OPO) in the United States.
The Living Legacy Foundation educates the community about organ, eye, and tissue donation. By raising awareness about the need and the importance for people to register their donation wishes, we hope to help the nearly 100,000 people waiting for a transplant.
We have seen first hand, through thousands of donor families who selflessly share their stories with us that donation can bring great comfort during grief. By continuing to share these stories we hope to save more lives through transplantation across Washington, Montana, Alaska, and North Idaho.
Mission
To increase organ, eye, and tissue donation by:- Increasing enrollment in the donor registry
- Eliminating barriers to donation
- Raising money to fund awareness and educational programs
